Head Deacon

Deacons are a specialized group of members who assist in the spiritual ministry of the church. The term deacon is derived from the Greek word diákonos  which means "servant" or "minister." (https://www.learnreligions.com). At EWM, the Head Deacon is appointed by the pastor to lead the deacons in serving the membership and to meet the material needs of the church.
