Mothers' Board

The EWM Mother’s Board is a group of respected older women within the church who help support and nurture members of the younger generation in the congregation.  Their mission is summed up in the instruction the Apostle Paul gave to Titus: "That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children."  Titus 2:3-5

The Mothers Board engages in spiritual warfare through Prayer for those in and outside of the church;  Mentor and teach; and provide advice to  the younger generations of church members on life matters and the ways of the Lord. Their words of wisdom and advice have been gained through their valuable spiritual and life experiences

The Mothers Board also assists with administration of Church ordinances(Communion and Baptism) by helping to set up for the services, preparing candidates for baptism, and cleaning up after services. They also are active in the Sick and shut-in visitation program and in planning activities for the women of the church. The Mothers Board may also feature family-friendly and children's activities, such as a back-to-school parties and family luncheons. They may also provide cooking, sewing and craft classes. All activities should be designed to focus on spirituality and supporting the church and the community.
